An experienced entrepreneur came across an opportunity that he couldn’t say no to. A prime located winery in one of the hottest AVA’s in the country, Chelan. Knowing that it would be a complicated process that required nimble underwriting, he called SFG to help fund the acquisition. Being able to see through the complexities of the transaction SFG was able to construct a loan that served both the buyers and sellers’ interests.
SFG allowed a seller carryback for a small portion of the purchase. We also created an intercreditor agreement to build confidence between us and the Seller further aligning everyone’s interest in the transaction. This in turn will allow our borrower to go raise the necessary funds to complete his vision.
Over the coming months we at SFG expect great things to come with the expansion of Chelan Ridge Winery. A toast to a new beginning for an established winery.
